Under Renovation

Yup, this site/blog is under renovation. R.. E.. N.. O.. V.. A.. T.. I.. O.. N... renovation. Just a one month renovation. You're a smart kid if you think that I'm busy now, so renovation is just an excuse. But you're even smarter if you think that I'm lazy to update this site. =)

Anyway, there'll sure be some changes after the renovation. And there'll be a lot of post too.

Niche Vege Kitchen

Yesterday, we begin our mission that we planned several week before. The mission is to find a vegetarian restaurant that located in section 19/3. We try their laksa before when they sell their food in food fair in UM last month... and the taste is yummy.

But we failed and end up here in this restaurant. The food? Ya, quite nice. The sambal for nasi lemak is good. The place? Normal but clean. The servis? Very bad. The waiter(or auntie) look at us like she look at her long time enemies.

This is the only food that we eat. The laksa in food fair better. Hm... Too bad we cant find the restaurant.

Stories : The Window

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in
his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.

The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where theyhad been on vacation.

Every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.

The man in the other bed began to live for those one-hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.

The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while
children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.

As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene.

One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by. Although the other man couldn't hear the band - he could see it. In his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.

Days and weeks passed. One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.

As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.

Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed. It faced a blank wall.

The man asked the nurse what could havecompelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window. The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.

She said, "Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you."

There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.
Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness
when shared, is doubled.

If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have
that money can't buy.

"Today is a gift, that's why it is called the present."

People will forget what you said...
People will forget what you did...
But people will never forget how you made them feel...

Genting Trip Part 1 : Outdoor

Went to genting last weekend. Although not much activities, but its still fun. We just walk around, feel the cold wind, talk nonsense, take picture and... went to casino for fun. Quite a lot of people, so we need to change the apartment from 2 rooms to 3 rooms. Here is the nicely arranged photos, enjoy...

We then back to our apartment to have a rest... And after dinner, what else... clean up and ready for the night journey... and casino journey too. But no big gamble there, guess what... We just use RM10 for the machine slot. All of us take turn to press the button so the the luck will change each time...lol. And it works, we manage to win RM25 from the RM10. Small bet here as you can see...

Thats all for part 1.

A Glass Of Milk

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry. He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. 'However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked. How much do I owe you?" °You don't owe me anything," she replied. "Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness."He said..... "Then I thank you from my heart."

As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, °but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Many year's later that same young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to her case.

After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest other life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill. She read these words..." Paid in full with one glass of milk" (Signed) Dr. Howard Kelly. Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: "Thank You, God, that Your love has spread broad through human hearts and hands."

There's a saying which goes something like this: Bread cast on the waters comes back to you. The good deed you do today may benefit you or someone you love at the least expected time. If you never see the deed again at least you will have made the world a better place -And, after all, isn't that what life is all about?
